INSIDE ME - INFLUENCES
INSIDE ME
When you realise that God is so close to you, as to be guiding you continually in your Conscience and spontaneous Inspirations, also your Heart Intuition, just below the radar of your conscious awareness – to be tapped into at any time – this intimate guidance is very reassuring indeed, and allows you to be optimistic for the future. You are not alone.
When we are not relying upon God to guide us, and protect us, by our inner promptings, then we must resort to ‘Me’ dealing with everything, which is frightening and overwhelming, since we have no control over so much.

The Need For Control
When everything is up to ‘Me’, then the usual way to deal with my fear, is to try to control as much as I possible can – either by
(a) manipulation or seduction of people or (b) by intimidation - causing fear.
The need for control is the single biggest factor that blocks God working during your day.
When you are docile to whatever God arranges - the Divine Will, (so that God is allowed to be 'Lord' of your day) … then you will see how well things seem to turn out around you, and quickly learn to trust God, recognising the good that He brings.
This trust and faith in God - brings a lifestyle of great peace.
Two Voices - As we are becoming aware that God Speaks to us in different ways, it may also be important to be aware that there is another voice which speaks to us in our thoughts on some occasions. The voice of the Devil/ Evil/ Demonic spirits, sounds very different to the Voice of God.
Whereas God speaks to us kindly with love and understanding, the Devil’s voice is invariably hateful and accusing.
When we do something wrong, God corrects us with a nagging unease in our Conscience, especially in quiet moments - inviting us to put right any wrong or hurt we may have caused. E.g. ‘Maybe you should go an apologise to that lady you lost your temper with?’ Or – ‘On second thoughts, maybe you were unfair then, and he was making a valid point.’
God convicts us gently with unease and remorse, like a loving parent, for us to learn and make things right.
God is always loving - and He always nudges us to treat other people as we would like to be treated.
On the other hand, the voice of Evil will be condemning and hateful against you or someone who upset you, not loving e.g. ‘You are so stupid for getting that wrong, nobody will listen to you ever again!’; or ‘Look at that bitch trying to be friendly now – I will get her back!”
The Devil condemns you harshly with destructive labels an incessant bad thoughts which cause pain.
“The voice of God – Light, Wisdom and Truth.
The voice of Satan: Darkness, Mud and Falsehood.”

Spiritual Maturity
The height of spiritual maturity is not praying lots of prayers, but the abandonment of your will to God’s Divine Will.
Trust God to arrange your day today
The 'Unity Prayer' of the Flame of Love invites exactly this union of ourselves with God – just as mankind was originally created to exist in the Garden of Eden.
As we trust and allow ourselves to be guided by God via our Conscience, our Inspirations and our ‘Heart Intuition’. Such an abandonment of ourselves to God, develops progressively as trust in God increases -
God calls ‘Lukewarm’ those who pray ritual prayers without entering into intimacy with God.
Catholics.
In the Flame of Love Diary, Jesus is especially critical of ‘lukewarm’ Catholics who may receive the Holy Eucharist frequently, but refuse to enter into the intimacy of their own heart.
