INSIDE ME - INFLUENCES

INSIDE ME

When you realise that God is so close to you, as to be guiding you continually in your Conscience and spontaneous Inspirations, also your Heart Intuition, just below the radar of your conscious awareness – to be tapped into at any time – this is very reassuring indeed, and allows us to be optimistic for the future. You are not alone.

When we are not relying upon God to guide us, and protect us by our inner prompting, then we must resort to ‘Me’ dealing with everything, which is frightening and overwhelming, since we can't control everything.

When everything is up to ‘Me’, then the usual way to deal with my fear, is to try to control as much as I possible can – either by manipulation or seduction of people around me, or by intimidation.

The need for control is the single biggest factor that blocks God working during your day.

When we are docile to whatever God arranges, to the Divine Will, so God is recognised to be at the centre of your day … then we quickly learn to trust God, and recognise the good that He brings. This brings great peace.

Since we are becoming aware that God Speaks to us in different ways, it may also be important to be aware that there is another voice which speaks to us in our thoughts sometimes. The voice of the devil sounds very different to the Voice of God.

Whereas God speaks to us kindly with kindness, the Devil’s voice is invariably hateful and accusing.

When we do something wrong, God corrects us with a nagging unease in our Conscience, inviting us to put right any wrong or hurt we may have caused e.g. ‘Maybe you should go an apologise to that lady you lost your temper with?’ Or – ‘On second thoughts, maybe you were unfair then, and she was making a good point.’

God convicts us gently with unease and remorse, like a loving parent, for us to learn and make things right.

On the other hand, the voice of Evil will be condemning and hateful against you or someone else, not loving e.g. ‘You are so stupid for getting that wrong, nobody will listen to you ever again!’; or ‘Look at that bitch trying to be friendly now – I will get her back!”

The Devil condemns us harshly with destructive labels.

“The voice of God – Light, Wisdom and Truth.

The voice of Satan: Darkness, Mud and Falsehood.”

Attitude towards other Religions:

Abraham was the father of all believers, that is, of those who for their justice not only merit to hear the spiritual and most holy Voice of God resonating in their spirits, but who know how to comprehend the words of this ineffable Voice and to believe and obey it and its commands.” Valtorta Romans p.81

The 'Romans 4 Principle' demonstrates that the ‘just man’ or ‘righteous man’, or woman, is a person who believes God, as Abraham did and tries to obey what God teaches, so that God reckons that person just and all his sins are forgiven.

Faith in Jesus the Messiah or the Christ, gives an additional level of union with God. However, if God looks kindly at non-Christians with Faith while they continue in their good will to obey God as they hear His Voice … then who is there to condemn another faithful person.

‘Christ’ is the word used when God is in union with His Creature, it is not Jesus’ second name – so to be ‘in Christ’ is to be in a relationship of intimate union with God.

There will also be Two Resurrections – those who ‘died in Christ’ will rise first (Thes.4:15-17), and later will come, ‘the resurrection of the just and the unjust’ (Acts 24:15, Jn.5:28,29) – when the rest of mankind ‘outside Christ’, will be judged.... according to the Law of Love.

“What does Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness … whose sins are covered. Rom. 4: 3,7

To people of any Religion who suppose their Religion makes them superior to another of a different Religion, caution should be used, because God will judge the soul according to their good will, and, of course:

To those given more, more kindness will be expected.

The Holy Spirit dictates:

“Here is a point that many do not meditate enough, and one in which they fall into the same error as the ancient Hebrews who believed themselves to be the only ones destined for Heaven  because they were the only ones who knew the existence and the Law of the true God.

Oh, wretches! To how many of these was this knowledge a condemnation. A condemnation because the knowledge was not a reason of humility in them, but of pride. They judged themselves to be justified without the need to circumcise the spirit, only because circumcision was upon their flesh. They thought of having triumph through theft, through an arrogant right.

No. Heaven is a conquest for everyone. Hard. Long and certain only for those who persevere in good will till the end of existence.” (Valtorta Romans p. 78)

We are called to have an attitude of love towards everyone, and treat everyone as we would like to be treated.

Spiritual Maturity

For clarity, the height of spiritual maturity is not praying lots of prayers, but the docility or abandonment of your will to God’s Divine Will.

The 'Unity Prayer' of the Flame of Love invites exactly this union of ourselves with God – just as mankind was originally created to exist in the Garden of Eden. Such an abandonment of ourselves to God, comes progressively as a relationship with God develops - as we trust and allow ourselves to be guided by God in our Conscience, our Inspirations and our ‘Heart Intuition’ operating just below the radar of our conscious awareness.

God calls ‘Lukewarm’ those who perform rituals without entering into intimacy with God.

Catholics.

In the Flame of Love Diary, Jesus is especially condemning of those Catholics as being ‘lukewarm’, who may receive the Holy Eucharist frequently, but refuse to enter into the intimacy of their own heart.
