THE BATTLE FOR YOUR HAPPINESS
THERE IS A BATTLE TAKING PLACE ALL AROUND YOU - AND YOU ARE THE PRIZE BEING FOUGHT OVER!
The battleground is within your thoughts,
Notice and guard your thinking!
Evil forces are masters especially of temptation and guilt, or anxiety and fear.
TEMPTING you to do something damaging to your happiness (often with Media influences and Alcohol)
.... and then CAPTIVATING your mind into ….
The MISERY of: Regret, Shame, Guilt, fear, lust, envy, hatred, pride, anger, obsession, depression, cold-heartedness, rebellion...
Misery means your peace and happiness is gone.
Or else,
ANXIETY AND FEAR about possible future threats that you have no control over...
in order to avoid the pain of past hurts or abuse.
And eventually the devastation of…
Self-destruction, broken relationships, panic and depression, even suicide, and murder
Incessant Chatter …. Dwelling on negatives that we cannot change - is part of this battle with Evil. But God's light and guidance destroys darkness.
When looking for happiness and peace in the wrong place, people crave 'fun' as an escape from misery, with alcohol, drugs, casual sex ... or 'likes' on Social Media
... which are temporary escapes but most often make things worse.
The Two Voices?
There are Two Voices speaking - so be aware
But they sound very different ...
Listen to the kind voice which leads you to peace, not fear or guilt.
God's Voice: never accuses you, but instead lovingly causes your Conscience to feel uneasy about things you may have done. God knows how weak we are and is very forgiving when we say: "Sorry!"
God will always lead you to love and forgive people - to treat everyone as you would like to be treated.
Also when making a bad decision, your Conscience will nudge you gently ... and as you approach the critical moment of action in your own free-will, your Conscience will sound more loudly with caution and warning.
If you ignore this Inner Voice of yours, you will lose your peace and happiness after you act.
And if you willfully continue to act against the guidance of your Conscience ...
God will allow you to discover the misery of that sinful behaviour, as its own lesson and punishment for you. You have the gift of free will to choose.
The Enemy of Your Happiness?
The Evil Voice is called The Accuser, or Satan- because it whispers exaggerated hateful accusations to you.
Like: "You are worthless and ugly"; or "You are stupid and unlovable"; or even: "You are so bad, God will not forgive you - don't bother going to Him!" - often with an Incessant Chatter of negativity, fear, hopelessness, depression.
In all your relationships, whenever you recognise any accusation sneaking into dialogue anywhere …. do your best to stop the accusation, before it causes division.
An accusation, anywhere, is routinely destructive of Love, and will try to spoil your day!!
Two very different voices! One patient and encouraging; the other hateful and destructive.

Let us just look at The News ...!

Every created person is equipped with reason, Conscience and a spiritual soul, by which God connects with you.
This is a spiritual world, and you are a spiritual being.
Good and Evil really exists, despite Evil pretending it is only a funny cartoon character … just look at the news reports.
In this spiritual battle for your happiness, The tactics of Evil used
against you and others.
Tries to convince you that God is far from you, up on a cloud somewhere.
In fact, God is very close to you, and talking to you each day, in your Conscience, intuition (gut feeling) and spontaneous inspirations.
Convince you that God hates sinners and will not forgive you for doing something terrible – but actually you only have to ask.
As in the parable of the Prodigal Son, who had left his home – when the father saw him in the distance returning home ashamed, he ran down the road to welcome his son back home.
A lovely story demonstrating the nature of God in the father figure, who will run towards you when you return home to Him.
Try to convince you that Satan and other evil spirits are not real – just a cartoon character, a joking figure.
But Evil is all too real – just see the News, or talk to the Exorcist Priest operating in every Diocese.
Did you know that Holly-wood is the wood of a witches wand, including Harry Potter - and we see the seduction and enchantment of populations from the Movie Industry.
Ø By inflaming our passions and base instincts “ I don’t know what came over me… I just wanted to kill him!”
But calling on God – quickly causes evil to run away – like Light pushing Darkness away easily.
When we ask, God will rush to your assistance – but God has decreed that you must ask.
Sin separates us from God, but as soon as you repent and say sorry for your sin, God rushes to embrace you again.
PROTECTION AGAINST THE EVIL TACTICS
The Flame of Love
A powerful gift to apply when experiencing the kind of attacks mentioned above, is receiving and applying the graces received from the Flame of Love -Jesus indwelling your heart. Then you will become relieved by transformations happening in your heart.
Your listening to God's guidance by the Word of God (The Flame of Love) indwelling you becomes a reliable lifestyle of guidance; and you are led into a life of peace and security.
God is a reliable and loving Father - but He insists that we have Free Will ... so chose wisely.
