Making Decisions for Happiness

You have an internal Guide and Judge inside you... called Your Conscience

Have you noticed that ...?

Before you act - your Conscience guides you how best to proceed ... to treat other people as you would like to be treated.

After your action - your Conscience will, like an external input, separate to your own thoughts, make you feel uneasy or good about what you did.

Between the first guidance, and the later judgement - you are able to act with your own free will, as you decide to behave - though often the Conscience will cause feelings of guilt, also sometimes,  During your action.

The Christian Church has long understood the voice of Conscience to be the voice of God, keeping us from actions which would take away our peace, or place us in danger.

The Bible too says about peace: "There is no peace for the wicked" and "Peace to people of good will" ... who desire to do good, according to their Inner Guide - their Conscience.

Everyone Was Made to Love

The moral values of everyone's Conscience are the same, across all nations and people -  Your Conscience measures you according to a ‘Law of Love’.

This is the same moral standard written on every person's heart.

Everyone knows how to 'be good', because your own Conscience responds with pleasure (happiness) if you do good, or with pain  (disquiet) if you act against the 'Law of Love' to others.

People believe that they 'form their Conscience' - in fact, they are actually forming their Personal Values by which they choose to act in their life. Your Conscience is unchanging, it is a Guide and Judge that remains constant and predictable.

A Critical Point of Understanding ..

When you act against the Law of Love, then afterwards - often immediately - 'out of the blue', also in your quiet moments, your Conscience will pester you and remove your peace - and happiness.

Treat others as you would like to be treated.

Whatever the reason that causes us to act without kindness towards another person or people - maybe we were having a bad day, or misunderstood something ... saying 'Sorry!' and trying to make amends for the hurt, makes a big difference.

Even if the person is still offended or hurt by our actions, to apologise goes a long way towards bringing healing.

Importantly though, you will more quickly regain your peace and happiness when you make such a gesture.

Let it go! ... Let it go!

Living in the world, it is impossible that you will not be hurt, or offended by other people.

Sometimes this hurt will be very great and difficult to recover from. Forgiving others is an important mechanism for your peace and happiness.

Bitterness, after being hurt is a long-term cause of unhappiness, and a major challenge for many people.

While this is understandable, it is enlightened if you can forgive others.

However, two factors may help you to find your peace again after such a hurt:

Be aware that the Creator God knows what they did: and during their life justice will be served - "What goes around comes around!" - and also a Judgment awaits us all after we die ...!

God knows what they did!

"Vengeance is mine: I will execute justice for you, says the Lord." Rom.12:9

For you to continue with a resentment against someone, takes away your own peace - you are drinking the 'poison' of pain, which you wish for the other person.

For your own sake, let it go!

Simply make a decision, to forgive that person, even if the emotion of forgiveness is absent, and you gradually will find forgiveness and peace.

The God Who Speaks - Are You Listening?

We are spiritual beings, and we can often 'feel', or get a vague 'sense' about a situation or a person, and of course the phenomenon called 'woman's Intuition' is well recognised across the world.

Where do all these intuitions, hunches, and gut feelings come from?

There are intriguing references in the Bible about God speaking to us, and hearing his voice.

We have shown that Conscience is a guide for being good, and preserving our peace and happiness - often considered to be the Voice of God.

Also the whole World recognises the wisdom of 'sleeping on a question' before making a decision.

Where does that wisdom come from while we are snoring?

The Bible says: "I know Lord that you wake me each morning as a disciple, to be taught." Is.50:4

As well as our Conscience, which comes 'out of the blue' to input us, after we do something good or bad, recent revelations show God also speaks to us with spontaneous Inspirations during our day.

Again, these Inspirations, like our Conscience, come 'out of the blue', with no cognitive preparation.

Often these Inspirations give us an 'Ahah!!' moment of guidance or solution to a situation - when we are in the shower or walking the dog (being still).

Although we may get numerous thoughts during the day, when one of God's Inspirations  pops into our mind - you notice that thought arrive. It will be a gentle thought, but remarkably 'still' - different from typical fleeting thoughts.

Often we ignore such spontaneous thoughts, because we already have our own plan - not realising that God may be behind the Inspiration.

The Flame of Love Grace - A Lifestyle of Peace and Security

There is a powerful new Grace which will enhance your listening to God's Voice by these Inspirations and guidance; also give you understanding of many things, and which promises to bring miracles deep in hearts.

This Grace is the Word of God, which became a man called Jesus, indwelling your heart as a lifestyle of interaction and gentle communication, and the Grace is called 'The Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

As well as receiving the Flame of Love, you will need to ignite this indwelling Guest, by interacting with Him in your heart, and loving Him there - making your Heart, God's Mobile Phone.

God created the Virgin Mary as a prototype and model for mankind - you - living in intimate union with the Word of God indwelling your heart, giving guidance, peace and security.

Note: To live in intimate union with the Word of God, which only speaks God's Will, is to live in intimate union with the Divine Will, as mankind was originally created.

This would also fulfill the Lord's Prayer petition, of God's Will being done on earth, as in Heaven..

Having mentioned God's Voice, there is another voice to be aware of, which sounds very different - not loving and gentle, but much more hateful and critical.

The spiritual battle for your happiness, and that of your loved ones, going on all around you, takes place mainly in your thoughts, with fierce accusations, as mentioned - and also whispered temptations, to do bad things, which your Conscience will try to resist, like:

"If I took that, nobody would know"; or "She seems available, and my wife would never know!"

To act against the voice of your Conscience, will always be, to lose your peace and happiness.

Prayer can strengthen you against the attacks of Evil, especially receiving the Flame of Love.
